Lebanon: housing

Are house prices rising in Lebanon?
No official house-price or rent index for Lebanon was found on the site of the Central Administration of Statistics, checked on 15 October 2026. The Banque du Liban site blocked automated access, so it could not be checked.
CAS includes housing costs in its consumer price index, which rose 16.66% overall in the year to August 2026, but that index measures what households pay to live in their homes, not the price of buying property. Any figure for property prices found elsewhere is likely to come from private estate agents, not from an official source.
