Questions

How does voting work?

Readers send statements in, the editor shortlists the ones that official records can test, and readers vote. The most-voted statements are first in line to be checked. One vote per browser is allowed, tracked with a cookie that stores nothing else.

Have the statements on the shortlist been checked?

No. They are waiting to be checked against the official record.
