How unequal are incomes in Armenia?

Armenia's Gini index was 27.4 in 2024, according to World Bank Open Data.

The Gini index runs from 0, where everyone has the same income or consumption, to 100, where one person has all of it. The World Bank calculates it from national household survey data. Changes from one year to the next are small and can fall within the survey's margin of error, so trends over several years give a clearer reading than single-year changes.
