Syria: public finances

1 answers, 1 from Syria's own official bodies, with a link to each figure.

Where are Syria's budget figures published?

No official budget, deficit or public debt figures for Syria could be read: the Ministry of Finance site (mof.gov.sy) failed a TLS certificate check, and the sites of the Central Bank of Syria (cb.gov.sy) and the Syrian Planning and Statistics Commission (psc.gov.sy), which could not be reached because of connection or TLS certificate errors when checked on 15 October 2026. The IMF's World Economic Outlook (October 2026) publishes no government finance figures for Syria.

The Ministry of Finance is the body responsible for the state budget, and its site is the place to look for budget amounts when it can be reached. The World Bank country indicators have no government revenue or debt series for recent years.
