9 answers, 5 from the Comoros's own official bodies, with a link to each figure.

How much public debt does the Comoros have?

Public debt in the Comoros was 27.5% of GDP at the end of 2025, down from 30.3% in 2024, according to the Central Bank of the Comoros 2025 annual report.

The ratio is debt divided by nominal GDP, so a faster-growing economy can lower it even when the amount owed rises. The Ministry of Finance publishes the budget law (loi de finances), but its site could not be reached from this check on 15 October 2026. The central bank's report also covers how the debt changed during the year.
