How much of Andorra's electricity is renewable?
93.7% of the electricity produced in Andorra in 2025 came from renewable sources, according to the national electricity balance presented by the Secretariat of State for Energy Transition, Transport and Mobility, reported by the government on 12 October 2026. Solar output has risen 89% in the last three years.
Domestic production covers only 21.8% of demand; the other 78.2% of the electricity consumed is imported from France and Spain, so the renewable share describes what Andorra produces, not everything it uses. Hydroelectric power remains the main domestic source. The government has set increasing domestic generation as a priority.
