What is the inflation rate in Andorra?

Consumer prices in Andorra rose 4.5% in the year to September 2026, down from 4.8% in August, according to the Department of Statistics' consumer price index release of 12 October 2026. Core inflation fell from 3.7% to 2.7%. Prices rose 1.0% in September alone.

The department says transport and, to a lesser extent, food and non-alcoholic drinks pushed inflation up over the year, while clothing and footwear and health prices pulled it down. Core inflation leaves out the most volatile prices, so it shows the underlying trend. The index uses 2021 as its base year, and the official annual rate is published in the official gazette, the BOPA.

What is the poverty rate in Andorra?

13.3% of people in Andorra were at risk of poverty in 2025, down from 16.4% in 2024, according to the Department of Statistics' living conditions survey results, based on 2024 incomes. 7.3% faced severe material deprivation, up 2.3 percentage points, and 19.8% were at risk of poverty or social exclusion.

The at-risk-of-poverty rate counts people whose income is below 60% of the national median, so it measures relative income rather than absolute hardship. Median equivalised disposable income was €29,505. 8.7% of people spent more than 40% of their income on housing costs, rising to 12.7% among tenants. The Gini index of inequality rose from 38.4 to 40.2.
