Official news: The UN and global treaty bodies
Bodies set up by treaty between countries worldwide: the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council, the World Health Organization, the World Trade Organization, Interpol and NATO. They pass resolutions, settle trade disputes, coordinate health emergencies and policing, and run budgets paid by member states.
This page lists official stories published at this level, or naming a person, place or body at it. Below it: Regional blocs and supranational bodies. Above it: The IMF, World Bank and global finance. How power works at this level.
