Apply to become Ambassador for a Day in Tunisia
What was announced
To mark International Day of the Girl on 11 October, the British and Danish Embassies in Tunisia are inviting girls to enter the Ambassador for a Day competition.
Key points, in the publisher's words
- Thank you to everyone who applied for Ambassador for a Day 2026. We received more than 180 applications from across Tunisia. The results have now been announced, and all winners and runners-up have been contacted. Due to the high number of applications received, we are unable to provide individual feedback.
- The Ambassador for a Day programme is expanding this year, with the British and Danish Embassies welcoming the Embassy of the Netherlands and the United Nations in Tunisia as partners in this initiative. Two competition winners will spend the day shadowing the Dutch Ambassador, H.E. Ms Dewi van de Weerd, and the UN Resident Coordinator, H.E. Mrs Rana Taha, to learn more about diplomacy, leadership, and international engagement.
