Does Senegal publish crime statistics?
No official crime figures, such as recorded offences, homicides or prison population counts, were found on the sites of the National Police or the Ministry of the Interior, checked on 15 October 2026. The Ministry of Justice site could not be reached that day.
The police site publishes news of individual arrests and operations rather than statistics. The site of the national statistics agency (ANSD) could not be reached on 15 October 2026.
