Where are Kazakhstan's crime statistics published?
Kazakhstan's recorded crime figures are compiled by the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts of the General Prosecutor's Office, from report 1-M, and the Bureau of National Statistics republishes series from it, including the number of registered crimes by region since 2015, in the dynamic tables on its crime statistics page.
The Prosecutor General's legal statistics portal could not be reached from outside Kazakhstan when checked on 15 October 2026. Recorded crime depends on what victims report and police register, so changes in recording rules can move the totals. Police and penal figures are also reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
