Regions of Côte d'Ivoire: population and official figures

Côte d'Ivoire is divided into 14 regions. The largest by population is Abidjan Autonomous District with 6,321,017 people (21.5% of the total); the smallest is Yamoussoukro Autonomous District with 422,072. Population figures are the final results of the 2021 General Population and Housing Census (RGPH 2021) from the Institut National de la Statistique. Each district page adds health and domestic violence from the 2021 Demographic and Health Survey (INS with ICF), whose 14 survey regions are these districts, and primary and secondary schools from the Ministry of National Education and Literacy's 2024-2025 school statistics.
