Divisions of Fiji: population and official figures

Fiji is divided into 4 divisions. The largest by population is Central Division with 361,459 people (41.8% of the total); the smallest is Eastern Division with 36,274. Population, age, jobs and bank accounts are from the 2017 Population and Housing Census, the latest census. Poverty and spending are from the 2019-20 Household Income and Expenditure Survey report as published by the Fiji Bureau of Statistics. Health, schooling, water, sanitation and cooking fuel are from the Bureau's 2021 Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey; survey estimates for the small Eastern Division rest on few households and carry wide margins of error. Fiji has no divisional budgets, so there are no budget pages.
