How big is Algeria's budget for 2026?
Algeria's 2026 budget allocates 17,636.66 billion dinars in payment credits, 5% more than the 16,794.61 billion in the 2025 finance law, according to the Ministry of Finance's 2026 finance bill presentation report.
The largest allocations are defence (3,205.3 billion dinars), finance (3,384.7 billion, including 2,118.9 billion for unforeseen spending), national education (1,851.3 billion), interior and transport (1,535.7 billion) and health (1,048.2 billion).
