How much aid has the UK given to Ukraine?

The Government's UK support to Ukraine factsheet, last updated in July 2026, says the UK has committed £25 billion in total: £16 billion in military support (including a £2.26 billion loan contribution), up to £5.6 billion in non-military support, and a £3.5 billion export finance cover limit.

These are commitments, some running over several years, and include loans and guarantees as well as grants. Money actually spent appears in the MOD's annual report and accounts and, for aid, in the FCDO's Statistics on International Development.

When comparing countries, check whether a figure is pledged or delivered, whether it includes loans, and its price base. Cross-country league tables are often compiled by non-official trackers, so trace the UK figure back to the official source.

When is the next figure out?

MOD, FCDO and Home Office statistics are pre-announced on the GOV.UK research and statistics calendar and published at 9:30am. Personnel statistics come out quarterly; provisional aid figures in April and final ones in the autumn; NATO's tables usually appear around its summer summit. The terrorism powers release is moving to a six-monthly cycle.

Every official release due in the next two weeks is on the release calendar.
