Baroness Featherstone corrected the Commons record on Animal Experiments: Primates
Baroness Featherstone made the correction and printed in Hansard's Written Corrections on 18 November 2010. The correction replaced 3 figures (1,257, 100, 958) with 2 figures (1139, 932). Altogether 13 words differ between the two versions.
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (a) how many and (b) what species of non-human primates imported for the purposes of scientific research were categorised as (i) captive-born (or F1 generation) and (ii) captive-bred (F2+ generation) in (A) 2009 and (B) 2010. Letter of correction from Lynne Featherstone: Errors have been identified in the response given to the hon. Member for Crawley (Henry Smith) on 4 November 2010. In the table referring to figures from 2009, the number ‘100’ should read ‘85’, the number ‘1,257’ should read ‘1,139’ and the number ‘958’ should read ‘932’. The answer was as follows:
