The ONS gives an annual CPI rate for postal services (COICOP 08.1) for every year from 1989 to 2025: 37 years. In 2025 prices in this class were 7.9% higher on average than in 2024, against 3.4% for all CPI items. The highest yearly rate in the series is 18.4% in 2012; the lowest is 0.5% in 2002.
