Prior to retiring 16 years ago, I had worked for a several voluntary organisations. These included being the Director of Basildon, Billericay and Wickford Council for Voluntary Services and an Advocate for Medway & Swale Advocacy Partnerships. I have also been a volunteer for Essex Alcohol Services and Victim Support. I have several hobbies such as reading, knitting, walking and eating out. I am also an ardent West Ham United fan (for my sins) I really enjoy being a Parish Councillor and hope that the work that I do is of some use to the community.
