Parish Councillors
The Council is made up of 12 Parish Councillors, elected every four years. Councillors may be co-opted where there is a casual vacancy. There are nominally 6 Councillors from Tanworth and 6 from Earlswood. Whilst councillors are in office they volunteer their time to serve the Parish.
Councillors act in the best interests of the parish as a whole and do not allow personal interests to interfere, or appear to interfere, with their ability to act in the best interests of the community.

Clerk
The clerk is the Proper Officer and is an employee of the Parish Council. The Clerk, along with the Deputy are a vital team who implement the Council decisions and provide the Parish Council with information to allow legal decisions to be made. The clerk draws up and signs the agenda and summons member to attend. The clerk is also the responsible Financial Officer to the council.
