Councillor Vacancies
When a vacancy arises for a new Parish Councillor, appointment will either be made by the Parish Council through a process known as Co-option or, if 10 or more local parishioners submit a formal request to the local authority Monitoring Officer, by an election. Boylestone Parish Council has adopted a policy for the process which can be found using the link below.
