At the Annual Council meeting on 17th May 2023, three people were co-opted onto Telscombe Town Council. We have subsequently had other resignations and co-options. Despite advertising the vacancies, two have not been filled by co-option to date. We therefore currently have 1 casual vacancy (following the resignation of a Councillor) and 1 ordinary vacancy (not filled at the May 2023 election) at the end of September 2026. Following the resignation of a co-opted Councillor in August, a by-election was subsequently called and contested. The election took place on Thursday 22nd October 2026 to fill the seat in the Telscombe Ward. Nikki Fabry, Labour Party, was elected.
