Civility and respect pledge
Haxby Town Council has signed up to a national campaign called the “Civility and respect pledge”. This means that we are demonstrating that our council is committed to treating councillors, the clerk, employees, members of the public, representatives of partner organisations, and volunteers, with civility and respect in their role.
Not only has the council as a corporate body agreed to the pledge, but each individual councillor has also signed up to the pledge too.
