Married to James, we have two teenage children who both attended Ann Cam School. As a family, we have taken an active part in parish events including organising the annual half marathon held at the cricket club. I work in the education sector and my hobbies include walking and hiking, cookery and spending time with my family. Nick Fairburn After a career in advertising, Nick moved to Dymock about five years ago to be nearer his children and grandchildren. He is now an active member of the community working on the Dymock Neighbourhood Development Plan as well as assisting the Council on Planning issues and matters affecting the Beauchamp Arms (Beauchamp Arms Working Group). He is perhaps less valuable as a member of the Dymock Pool Team.” Gill Kilmurray I have lived in the village since 2006, having moved here from Gloucester. I am married to my husband Andy and together we have 1 son, Michael. Who enjoyed his time at Ann Cam and has recently gained assistance from the 2 Rivers housing scheme in The Winding Pool. We have loved our time in the village and have benefited from many of the local amenities. Dymock is lucky to have so much to offer people, and has a tremendous sense of Community. I am also fortunate to have the opportunity to support the Parish as a District Councillor at the Forest of Dean District Council. I care passionately about Dymock and everyone who lives in the parish. Trevor Blandford I have lived in the Parish all my life and attended Ann Cam Primary School. My three brothers also all now live in the Parish. I currently work on my farm in Leddington and have been an active member of the Parish Council for 13 years. I am now the Snow Warden. I enjoy participating in local country sports. John George I am a retired farmer and haulage contractor who has lived in the Parish for almost 60 years. I have been a member of the Parish Council for almost 30 years, and was one of the councillors who worked to purchase the pub for the community. I have two daughters and four grandchildren, all of whom still live in the area, and who are all active in Parish and Pub events. Tony Eagle I've lived in Dymock for 45 years, married to Denise for 27 years with 4 children between us and 3 grandchildren. Since the age of 28 I have run my own business, in industrial ventilation and air conditioning. Providing employment for locals. I have been an active member of Dymock Parish council for over 30 years, a church warden for 33 years and latterly president of Dymock Cricket Club. I care passionately about Dymock and all the parishioners who live in the Parish. Ian Bruce Ian served in the Army for thirty-eight years joining the Royal Corps of Transport as a Driver. He Commissioned into the Royal Logistic Corps retiring at field-rank(Major). He saw service throughout the world in various roles with operational service in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. While finishing his final tour in Falkland Islands Ian and Maddie planned to travel the inland waterways on retirement, which they did for seven years. They moved to Dymock in 2021 where Ian joined the Dymock Memorial Corps to raise funds for the restoration of the Dymock War Memorial which the group attained ahead of the schedule they set themselves. Ian is keen to improve the operation of the Parish Council and to hold District and County Councils to account.
